MISSION
To coordinate and provide administrative support to system-wide
subunits that will provide a physically safe, secure and functional
environment for students
GOALS
- The goal of the office is to support all subordinate offices
in operations and ensure that their goals are met
ACCOMPLISHMENTS
- Reduced operating expenses by $63 million annually.
- Implemented the following new program designed to enhanced our
asset base and improve the quality of service provided to CPS
students:
- Capital Improvement Plan
- Property Advisor Program (privatized repairs)
- Food Service Privatization
- Warehousing/Distribution
- Outsourcing of various supplies with direct deliveries to
schools
- Independent audits of invoices and bus vendor safety
compliance
- Initiated school based management for operation funcitions.
